Sedation Dentistry for Multiple Treatments in One Visit

To help patients relax during procedures, we provide oral and IV conscious sedation as well as general anesthesia. Sedation dentistry allows individuals who may have avoided care for years due to anxiety to finally receive the treatment they need. By reducing fear, it also enables our team to complete more work in fewer visits, saving time and stress while ensuring comfort, safety, and confidence throughout the entire treatment process.

  • Oral Sedation

About an hour before your procedure we’ll give you a sedative pill to produce a deep level of relaxation. Patients are usually awake but dozing and less aware. Oral conscious sedation is good for longer procedures or for patients with moderate anxiety, helping them remain calm, comfortable, and cooperative while treatment is completed efficiently without unnecessary stress or fear.
  • General Anesthesia

Our medical anesthesiologist administers general anesthesia for very fearful patients. You’ll be fully asleep throughout treatment and wake up with all your treatment completed, safe, comfortable, carefully monitored, with every detail managed to ensure effective results and a stress-free experience.
  • IV Sedation

Medication is delivered directly into your bloodstream through an IV. It provides a deeper sedation and patients remember little or nothing of the procedure, though they are not fully unconscious, allowing comfort, reduced awareness, and effective management during complex treatments.

This type of sedation dentistry can be controlled to keep a patient sedated for longer periods of time. The medication can also be flushed out at the end, enabling faster recovery time.
We bring in a medical anesthesiologist to administer your IV sedation, so you know you’ll be in good hands.

IV conscious sedation is good for patients with significant anxiety and for long or complex procedures, offering deeper relaxation, minimal memory of treatment, and greater comfort throughout extended dental care sessions requiring precision and focus.
