Dental implants are the most stable and natural tooth replacement options available. Implants are anchored in the jaw and provide a more permanent alternative to a dental bridge or dentures. Dr. Bensoussan has several implant options for replacing missing or falling teeth and will help you choose the best solution to fit your goals for your oral health.

An implant-supported bridge can replace multiple adjacent teeth using as few as two implants.
(Fixed-in Full-Arch Teeth Replacement)
Provides a fixed-in set of permanent teeth that restores full natural chewing ability.
Two to four implants can stabilize a denture, boosting chewing ability and preventing the denture from moving around while eating, talking, or laughing.
Dr. Bensoussan is a surgical prosthodontist, a dentist with three years of specialist training in dental implant surgery and treatment, treatment planning, esthetic dentistry, crowns, bridges, veneers, the TMJ (jaw joint) and oral function. In addition, he spent a year being mentored by a highly trained and experienced prosthodontist surgeon.
He has placed over 2,500 dental implants and has collaborated with general dentists and other specialists on over 1,500 implant cases.
His training and experience, coupled with his use of the latest technology, mean he can help most people who need teeth replaced—no matter how complex the case—benefit from dental implant treatment and regain solid chewing and a beautiful smile.
A dental implant is a replacement root tooth using biocompatible titanium or zirconia that is attached to a crown, bridge, denture or a brand new set of permanent teeth.
Dental implants act and feel very much like natural teeth. When you replace a tooth with a dental implant, you can feel peace of mind that you have a strong, functioning tooth once again. And, unlike a dental bridge, you don’t have to shave down and cap the adjacent teeth in order to hold the bridge in place.
We offer full-dental implant services, including:
We stand behind our work with a results-based warranty for both surgical procedures and the restorations we provide, such as crowns, bridges and veneers. That means if the final outcome doesn’t meet the treatment goals we agreed on, we’ll make it right — at no extra cost to you. Our only requirement is that you follow the recommended care and maintenance plan.
For efficient and predictable surgery, Dr. Bensoussan plans implant cases ahead of time using state-of-the-art 3D digital technology. He plans the surgery with the exact end in mind of how the implant and final tooth or teeth should be positioned.
During surgery, Dr. Bensoussan receives real-time feedback using the X-Guide—a 3D navigation system that enables precise placement of the implant’s position, angle, and depth. This eliminates any guesswork and makes the outcome predictable.
Dr. Bensoussan keeps up with the latest research and technologies in implant treatment. He adopts evidence-based techniques and technologies that will improve precision, efficiency, comfort for the patient and final outcomes. This evidence-based care is present in all steps of your dental implant treatment.
Faster healing and implant stability with state-of-the-art dental implants
This includes Dr. Bensoussan’s choice of dental implants. He uses implants from one of the top implant providers, Nobel Biocare, that have a special surface on the implant that promotes integration with the jawbone, speeding up healing and increasing bone stability. This surface is also very gentle to the bone and oral cavity and lessens risk of peri-implantitis (implant gum infection).
A. The collar of the implant has a smooth, non-corrosive surface, designed to be easy on your gum tissue and reduce plaque accumulation.
B. The body of the implant has a textured, porous surface that makes it easier for the bone to grip and it attracts healing fluids to speed up recovery.
In most cases Dr. Bensoussan can extract your tooth, place a dental implant and attach a temporary tooth in the same visit.
Dr. Bensoussan can extract any teeth needing replacing and place a dental implant in the same visit. If bone is deficient and needs augmenting, he can usually place the implant and a bone graft at the same time. Patients with little-to-no available bone might have to wait for bone to grow back before placing the implant.
At the end of your visit, Dr. Bensoussan attaches a temporary tooth or provide you with a snap-on tooth or teeth for the visible area of your smile, so no gaps are showing.
The strength and longevity of your new teeth (crown, bridge or full set of new teeth) are based on how well the implants and the teeth are positioned, and the quality of the material used. Dr. Bensoussan does extensive planning and preparation to ensure that your implants and teeth are correctly positioned, and he uses only the highest grade porcelain, zirconia and acrylic.
Dr. Bensoussan is not only a specialist in dental implant surgery and teeth replacement, he is also a specialist in esthetic dentistry, and he knows how to create a stunning smile. He works with top dental lab technicians to craft strong, esthetic and natural-looking new teeth.
