Dental Crowns & Bridges

Crowns and bridges offer durable and natural-looking solutions to restore damaged or missing teeth, enhancing both function and aesthetics. These custom-made restorations can strengthen compromised teeth and effectively bridge gaps, helping you regain a complete and confident smile with improved bite, long-term stability, and seamless integration for natural comfort and appearance.

Dr. Bensoussan is a prosthodontist, a specialist with three additional years of training in the design, creation and restoration of replacement teeth. His expertise in material selection and the intricate details of fabrication allows him to craft crowns and bridges that are not only natural-looking and aesthetically pleasing but also built to last.

Crowns

Crowns are used to strengthen teeth that have decayed, to improve a bite for more comfortable chewing, to improve appearance, and to attach to dental implants, offering durable protection and natural aesthetics.

Efficient, Minimally Invasive Procedure

We like to keep treatment as conservative and minimally invasive as possible. Dr. Bensoussan gently removes only the necessary amount of tooth structure needed to clean out the decay, minimizing any trauma to the tooth and preserving maximum natural strength for long-term stability and comfort.

Partial Crowns (Onlays & Inlays)

In addition, Dr. Bensoussan will use a partial crown whenever he can when the decay is too extensive for a filling, but not severe enough to require a crown.

An inlay fits within the cusps (raised edges) of a tooth, and an onlay covers a larger portion of the tooth, providing added strength, protection, and preserving more healthy natural structure overall.

Dental bridges can be used to replace decayed or missing teeth. As a bridge requires the adjacent teeth to be cut down so they can be capped and used as anchors, Dr. Bensoussan will usually recommend dental implants. Dental implants can be inserted directly into the jaw bone and don’t require any work on adjacent teeth. Implants closely mimic a natural tooth.

A bridge can also be used with dental implants to replace several missing teeth, restoring proper chewing function, preventing shifting, and maintaining alignment of the surrounding natural teeth.

    Highest Quality Dental Labs

The aesthetics and longevity of your new crown, bridge or implant-supported teeth depends greatly on the quality of both the materials and the dental lab. To ensure the highest level of quality and service, we utilize a combination of our in-office lab and top-quality US dental labs.

Dr. Bensoussan designs and fabricates the temporary crowns or bridges in our own lab. This ensures an exact fit and a natural, aesthetic look. For your permanent crown or bridge, he works in partnership with dedicated crown and bridge labs, chosen for their high-quality work. He personally reviews the design before the new teeth are milled. The result: natural-looking crowns and bridges that will last.
